We are nestled between the Sitzmark and the Day Lodge, just a few doors down from Girdwood Visual Arts Center and the Bake Shop. Babes in the Wood began as a traditional children's tale. The expression has passed into common language, referring to inexperienced innocents entering unawares into any potentially dangerous or hostile situation. A new definition has come to be, referring to those who enjoy the particular joie de vivre of outdoorsy, unique, and unconventional lifestyles. This definition is most often relevant to artsy types, but no stereotypes hold in the realm of these new Babes in the Woods...
